Jeremy Riddle

Jeremy Riddle grew up in a musical family in New Jersey. When he was very young he took a few piano lessons and his dad taught him a bit of guitar, but it wasn’t until he was 12 that he began to learn chords and play worship songs. In fact, worship songs were the only songs he knew how to play.

When he was 13 he began to lead worship for a small group of youth, then at an adult home group when he was 15. He continued leading worship at his church into his young adult years when he spent a few years in a mainstream band.
When he gave it up he thought it was the end of his dream of performing. He became a junior high school youth pastor at the Anaheim Vineyard in California. In addition to his pastoral position he was also one of the worship leaders. He wrote a number of songs in the 6 years he worked there. The church started regularly using a couple of the songs he had written. Two of the songs were featured on the compilation CD that Vineyard music released called Just Like Heaven. In 2006 his song became the title track to another compilation, Sweetly Broken.

The single “Sweetly Broken”, peaked at #17 on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Chart during a 20-week stay. That song was also featured on his 2007 debut album, Full Attention, released on Vineyard’s Varietal Records.

Jeremy Riddle released the album called The Now And Not Yet in 2009. His latest album is Prepare the Way which was released in 2010. Currently, Jeremy leads worship at Bethel Church in Redding, CA.
