SUMMARY:Spiritual and Mental Health Starts with Community Ministries
DESCRIPTION:The Mahayana Pure Land Temple is pleased to invite you to a multi-faith and multi-cultural event offered by more than 6 different faith ministries (Anglican\, Buddhist\, Muslim\, Roman Catholic\, United\, and 2SLGBTQ+) in support of and responding to the “mental health care” advocated by the government with an emphasis on inclusiveness\, multi-faith harmony and multiculturalism. \nAt the event\, each religion has its own booth. Ministry partners serve their practices in accordance with their faith traditions\, integrating psychotherapeutic interventions to promote and educate “spiritual and mental health care” through in-person interactions with attendees. For example\, prayer with stones\, anointing for healing\, communion\, mindfulness breathing\, emotional counseling and many more. \n
