DESCRIPTION:**NEW ADDRESS** \nCome and experience behind-the-scenes music-making at Luminous Voices’ OPEN REHEARSAL on Friday\, February 8th between 4 – 5:30 PM at The Bella Concert Hall\, The Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts\, Mount Royal University (18 Mount Royal Circle SW\, Calgary). \nThe choir will be preparing for the third concert of the 2018-19 season\, a cappella choral masterpiece “Path of Miracles“ by British composer Joby Talbot. A pilgrimage in composition\, “Path of Miracles“ is an exciting musical journey based on one of the most enduring route of Catholic pilgrimage – the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago). Talbot made the pilgrimage himself in preparation – and the result is a powerful and moving a cappella piece which gives listeners a riveting sense of journey. The four movement titles (Roncesvalles\, Burgos\, León and Santiago) are named after the four main posts along the route. \nThis event is free and open to public.
