DESCRIPTION:ADMISSION BY DONATION. \nCalgary organist Jim Picken presents “Footsteps”\, a solo organ recital featuring music by Dupré\, Ibert\, Howells\, Franck\, and more. \nJim Picken is an organist and pianist\, a music director at Knox Presbyterian Church\, and also collaborates with solo singers and instrumentalists. He has performed numerous organ recitals including a recital at Christ Church in aid of Amnesty International and at Central United to celebrate Alberta’s Centennial. \nHis recordings include “In the Pipes”\, which includes organ music by Alberta composers. \nAdmission is by donation. Proceeds from this concert will go toward Presbyterian World Service and Development. \n
